Jason began to formulate a new concept in marketing communication services.  An idea that the client should be able to “tailor” its agency relationship based on their actual needs – not the agency’s requirement for billable hours.
Seeing a need in the market for a more project-driven marketing approach, Jason started The Nowland Group in 1985.
The idea was simple. The Nowland group would be a strategic and creative resource to supplement companies’ in-house capabilities. Strategic planning, messaging, public relations, graphic design, copy writing services, and the production of sales literature could be purchased ala carte.
The pricing structure was what customers wanted   No retainers.  No service fee agreements.  Simply a pre-determined price for individual projects, and a promise to deliver communication excellence within those parameters – usually at a fraction of the cost of most traditional agencies.
The concept worked.  And for more than 20 years, The Nowland Group has been extremely successful at helping clients achieve their marketing communication objectives in a way that is fresh, informal, and fosters long-term trust.
